Dean is a regular columnist for a wide-variety of business press and entrepreneurial publications and author of the books: Thrive – How To Achieve And Sustain High-Level Career Success and Creating Grade 'A' Business Relationships. Dean is also a co-Founder of The Business Coaching Academy, which he set up to educate and enlighten managers and leaders on the art of coaching.
The majority of Dean's time is allocated to working with executives and boards offering them one to one and team coaching, as well as career counselling and mentoring. Dean boasts a client list that includes several global blue-chip corporations – Samsung, HSBC, Barclays, MasterCard, Avis Budget Group and BUPA to name but a few.
Previous experience as a Sales Director and Managing Director, arm Dean with a depth of experience that is valued by those he currently works with. With a reputation for helping turn around suffering businesses/teams (self acclaimed ‘muck and bullets coach’!), he is able to identify quickly what needs to be done, no matter how challenging and provide the strength and guidance to carry out the next steps. Although he would be quick to deflect the praise, Dean's involvement with one business over a 24 month period contributed to a profit swing of a startling 226%. Dean is known for his very dynamic thinking and ability to enable others to think and see both challenges and opportunities differently. Working with a variety of high profile clients across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, he has a pragmatic and robust approach that has been referred to as ‘refreshing in today’s environment’.
